Compact Modular Slingbow (3D Printed)

$15.00

Please note: A slingshot band is not provided with this purchase—you’ll need to purchase one separately

Description:

A useful little slingshot+slingbow combo I designed, that switches back and forth between being a regular slingshot (for firing stones and steel shot) and a slingbow for firing arrows.

3D printed in solid ABS for maximum durability and resilience!

Check out the last photo for available color options!

Applications:
Every day carry, bug out bags, survival, backcountry camping, plinking

Design:
Original design by Mike Seguin
This item is designed on a computer and then 3D-printed using a desktop 3D Printer.

Dimensions:
Overall dimensions:
Height: 11.7cm
Width: 8.3cm
Thickness (not including arrow guide): 1.7cm
Handle Length: 6.3cm
Yoke Height: 5.4cm
Distance between yokes: 4.7cm

Materials Guide:
3D printed in solid ABS
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene is a common thermoplastic polymer used in many industries due to it's resilient nature. A solid all-around material good for things that need a good blend of strength and resistance to wear.

Tools & Installation:

  • Purchase slingshot band separately.

  • Insert tubes of slingshot band through yoke holes. Note: Slingshot is not symmetrical. Curved cutouts on yoke should face away from you (toward the direction of fire)

  • Insert nibs (either ones provided with slingshot band, or the 3D printed ones provided with this purchase) into the tubes. This should secure the band in place when pulled on. Alternatively you can knot the ends.

  • To attach arrow guide, slide it in over top in between the yokes. Please note: The arrow guide is not perfectly symmetrical—one side has a bevelled edge to help guide the arrow. This should face toward you. The guide is positioned correctly if the top surface is aligned with the top surface of the yoke.

Included:
- 1× 3D Printed Slingshot
- 1× 3D Printed Slingbow Arrow Guide
- 2× 3D Printed Nibs
